What if? Ever think of extraordinary things driving us crazy and probably lead to daydreaming. Well that's part of growing, you think about things which is very far from reality.

But, what if. . .
my body have multiple clones.

Then i'd be very thankful for that, I can do the laundry, blogging, and plurking at the same time, and even form a band with myselves! no way? This thing must be crazy, i'm many, and I am everywhere. That's insane.

Photoshop is one way of doing clones, just in the photo, not in the real life. I guess you'll be damned if that happens. All you need is a dose of imagination and a bunch of ideas sprouting from your mind. Just leave it to the camera, do the multi-shooting, and a handful of photos with different pose, then Photoshop will do the rest.

I was stunned the first time I saw and learned this kind of manipulation, but later on realized, that it was just a matter of creativity and self-exploration, and that's the way how to crumble the cookie.

So, are you ready for giving yourself a full blast with these types of manipulation, wherein you can be from those worries from the real world.

Glossy Font Effect

This is a tutorial of making a more appealing font effect through nice combination of colors and font. I've also learned this thing since I've been on Photoshop.

THE 14 WAYS CREATING GLOSSY FONT AND REFLECTION:

1.) Open a new document in any size and fill the background with white (#ffffff)
2.) Type in your text, in this preview I type "font effect" and set the font style on Bahaus 93 and set the font color to lighter blue (#7eb5e8)
3.) now set the foreground color to #7eb5e8 (lighter blue) and the background color to #4398e7 (darker blue).
4.) then go to blending options (right click the text layer and select blending options).
5.) after selecting blending options, check the gradient overlay box and set the ff:

angle - 90 degrees
opacity - 100 percent
scale - 100 percent
blend mode: normal
gradient: select the gradient blue, the colors we set above (lighter blue to darker blue)

6.) after adding a gradient overlay, check the stroke overlay box, and select a color from the color box, and set it to #2f6395 (darkest blue) and set the size to 2.
7.) now you have a font with gradient, we will add a gloss on the font's upper part.
create a circular shape on the upper part of the created font.notice that the shape have almost covered the font, so reduce its opacity to 17 percent in the layer palette.
now ,we can see the font and the gloss on its upper part.

to add a cooler look, we will make a reflection of the font:

8.) but first, merge all the visible, but do not include the background layer.
9.) then duplicate the merged layer font.
10.) ctrl + t to rotate the duplicated layer to 180 degrees.
11.) hold down alt + shift while dragging the left side button of the duplicated layer to its right side (if you did it correctly, the "font effect will still be read, but it is inverse.)
12.) then reduce its opacity to 50 percent
13.) pressed "e" to select the eraser tool, and set its opacity to 43 and its flow to 80
14.) erase the bottom part of the duplicated layer carefully, and erase it until you'll get your favored result.

GOESRETRO

I've found a cool shot of a new-edition chucks, and i've found interest in editing this photo. I search my stock backgrounds and found a cool-textured balloon wallpaper, so I decided to put it in. As the editing went on, I've added some splat brushes while making the fonts 3-dimensioned. The edit didn't took long because, the raw materials were already edited. I just share it with you. Thanks to flickr!

Extreme City Makeover

SOMEWHEREINDAVAO

This photo was taken somewhere in the road of Davao City last year, taken when my sister is having her physciatric care. When she arrived home after 3 weeks, I've found this picture and made a huge interest in editing this photo. So, what I did, is edit the same photo and added some infastructures from the different photos taken, too. I added a big globe at the back to make it more futuristic. To make it more realistic I added the photo a radial blur, for some speed effect while increasing the sepia volume.

...and here is the result:

Creating a poping Marilyn Monroe head in Photoshop

The tutorial will help you discover the essence of the animation palette in adobe photoshop cs,cs2, and cs3. We will make a popping head of Manilyn Monroe (to those who wonder why Manilyn Monroe,its because it is so nice to see her head popping especialy when you play a music *lol*)

requirements:

1.) of course, ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
2.) patience
3.) a picture of manilyn monroe, or other picture (even you)
4.) trust me, its sooo easy.

WE'LL START HERE:

1.) create a new document with a size of 360x363 pixels.
2.) fill the layer with black.
3.) open the image of manilyn monroe,cut and copy her image to the newly created document

now, we will animate her. (we'll make her alive!)

4.) open the animation palette in the menu bar: WINDOW>ANIMATION

5.) we will now cut Manilyn Monroe's head (how sick) but be sure not to incude her neck, just the face including the head.

6.) then copy the head and paste it we should now have her head separated from another full copy. the order of layers should look like this one:

7.) then, proceed to the animation palette and duplicate the frame.you should now have two frames

8.) select again frame 1 and duplicate the head and rename it into "pophead"
9.) ctrl + t to transform and rotate the the first copy of the head, and slightly rotate it sideways. be sure to hide the "pophead: layer in frame 1.

10.) next, in frame 2 select the layer "pophead" and rotate it opposite to the one you rotated back in frame 1. this time hide the original copy of the head while showing the "pophead" layer.

11.) play the sequence in the animation palette, if finished go toe FILE>SAVE FOR WEB

its finished as of now, if you want to make the head more interesting, duplicate the frames many times, while simultaneously duplicating the layers.

Font Effect in Photoshop

I am bored this time, so i'll just share my favorite tutorial I used to do back then. Grunging a simple font, basically we will use Adobe Photoshop of any version sa long as we have the font style, Impact, and we have grunge brushes.

Tutorial: cool font out of a usual font using brushes.

First step: open a new document with a size of 600x600 px
Second step: set the colors into #072c46 and #0d4974. respectively the colors are blue and a much darker blue
it depends on you if you choose other color, but for my template I use the scheme blue.
Then go to FILTER>RENDER>CLOUDS... This should be the output

Third Step: on the working area type in your desired word or phrases with the font style impact:
this time, I use monkey monitor and change it with the color #c6dff1Fourth Step: duplicate the font and rasterize the duplicated one while hiding the original copy (the one serves as a copy if we made mistakes into the duplicated one)

Fifth Step: select burn, or press "o" in the keyboard, and choose "burn", then burn the edges of the rasterized font

we now create the "make-over font"

choose grunge brushes on your eraser brush palette, if you have no grunge brush you can download it at deviantart.com
be sure not to select the brush tool but the eraser tool
erase thouroughly the edge of the font while slowly making a cool view
there you go, you have now a grunge font using only impact font stlye
on my preview, I used other stlyle including the square below the "m",for more interesting font, but for the basics we need only the grunge brush and the font impact
